Maine WIE First Fundraising Event , May 16th, 2010

Date and Time:Sunday , May 16th from 11:00am to 4:0pm

Maine Women in Science and Engineering is having their first fundraising event! We need your help to make it a success so we can raise money to fund education programs in math and sciences.
We will have a table at the Bar Harbor Community Sale'abration Street Fair on May 8th (rain date, May 15th), from 9-2 pm. We need your contributions to make the sale a success. We would like to sell baked goods and other yard sale type items. We hope that each of you could contribute either baked goods or items you no longer need or both. Please let me know if you can participate. We also need people to watch the table (set up begins at 7:30). If you cannot attend but would like to contribute items, they can be dropped off at a convenient location for you. I urge all of you to help out so we can start working on all the great ideas we've been talking about but haven't been able to put into action because of lack of funds.
This is a great opportunity to promote our organization as well as raise some funds for the upcoming year. We really appreciate your help.
